"My name is Lise. I'm 27, married, mother to one. My husband's a workaholic, but that's fine; it gives me lots of time to focus on my own projects.

I've been writing for a few years. At first, it was just small things: articles for the local newspaper, a bit of blogging, nothing too serious. Then came the accident. A car crash left me with big chunks of my memory missing; my psychiatrist told me writing could help me recover my missing memories, and I've been a novelist ever since. My first novel was entitled "Listhère". It didn't make it on any bestseller's lists, but that's alright.

That's not why I wrote it.

Despite the poor sales, it definitely attracted at least one loyal fan. A week after my book was first published I started receiving letters. Well, one letter, over and over. A cryptic message, telling me that Listhère, the fictional city at the heart of my novel, really exists.

Could it be true? Had I mistaken my own memories for my imagination?

Could this city help me find those fragments of my mind that had been missing for so long?

What would you do, if you were me?"

Play as Lise in her quest for answers and visit the mysterious city of Listhère!

Explore the strange city by solving puzzles and making careful decisions. Choices are based on the idea of the "Butterfly Effect": even a small action can have reprecussions later on. Keep an eye on Lise's anxiety gauge while you play; too much pressure, panic or fear can drive her to an early grave!

The anxiety:

Ever since her accident, Lise has been prone to frequent anxiety attacks.

If she gets scared, her anxiety level will rise as a result.

As she reaches new thresholds of fear, Lise will suffer side effects.

When her anxiety level goes up to 100%, Lise will have a stroke.

However, her anxiety gradually decreases if she is able to avoid stressful situations. She can also use various medications to decrease it instantly.

Stamina:

Lise can run by pressing the "Shift" key on your keyboard.

However, a stamina gauge will appear as you begin to run.

If the gauge is empty, Lise will stop to catch her breath.

In addition, her stamina will replenish slowly for a short time, due to her shortness of breath.

If she reaches a certain level of anxiety, her stamina will drain more quickly and take longer to recharge, limiting her ability to run.

Difficulty:

At the start of the adventure you will have to choose between "Naive" or "Unconcious" mode.

Naive mode is the normal difficulty of the game.

Unconscious mode is the harder difficulty of the game, and is recommended for players looking for a less more unforgiving challenge.

Unconcious mode makes the following changes:

- No save prompts before dangerous areas.

- Anxiety increases more rapidly.

- Bosses are harder to finish.

- Fewer consumable items.

- The puzzles are more difficult.

- The tests are more difficult.

Difficulty is locked during gameplay, so choose carefully before starting a new game.

An official Guide is available (in French) here: https://www.calameo.com/read/00623958...

At the end of the demo you'll be asked to fill out a very short form about your opinions on your experience. Please take the time to fill this out, as it will help us refine the game in future updates.

We hope you have a good time playing this demo.

Loved this game and can't wait to see it completed!! You can definitely see that there is love and passion put into this!

***SPOILERS***

Good morning, wherever you are!

I want to start by saying that I love this game. RPG maker horror games are my all-time favorite niche, and it's hard to find developers interested in the genre: let alone able to make such an amazing one! I plan on making a better review once I finish the demo. But for now I'm just here to mention a potential bug. During the scene where you have to option to cut your hand to put blood on the door, the player character has an anxiety attack, right? So I try to press "C" so that she can take some meds to calm down. However, I get an error box whenever I try to do this, and the game shuts itself down. I made sure to screenshot just in case you were interested, so let me know.

Anyways, the game has been fun to explore so far! I don't know how far into the demo I am, but I'll probably have to delete and redownload the game before I can finish it.

<3

i really like this game and im still coming back to it i really wanna return playing this game i do hope the devs are still working on it :D

I was requested to Let's Play this game by the developers (video's recorded, just not up yet) and I gotta say I really enjoyed my time with this one.  And I'm not even a fan of horror at all.

I love the characters, I love the story, the writing is very mature and portrayed its more complicated topics appropriately.  The visuals are freaky and it just generally has a lot of potential.  I'm not quite sure how long the devs intend this game to be once it's all completed, but I would love to return to this at some point in the future!

I'll give the rest a shot as soon as I can get the update!

This game should be getting more attention, There is a lot of attention to detail... I  like it a lot... 😂

Oh thank you very much! This affects us enormously! <3
